In all likelihood you, along with the other 196 Best Places to Work Survey participants, are looking at your survey results RIGHT NOW and PONDERING YOUR NEXT STEP!!

You may well be wondering:

  • Should I pass the results on to staff?
  • If so, how should I go about that (e.g. abridged or full report)?
  • What about verbatim comments? Should I edit them? Just pull out themes?
  • Once I've communicated the results, what next?
  • How can I get the executive management team on-board?
  • What is the best follow-up process to use, and who will be involved?
  • How can we improve our performance in (say) -
    • Creating a sense of belonging
    • Having fun
    • Breaking down silos and getting people from different teams working together
    • Providing development opportunities in a flat structure
    • etc

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! Help is at hand - lots of help - and what's more it's FREE!!

JRA have developed an interactive Forum where our clients can go to discuss issues that have been raised by their surveys. The JRA team will certainly offer suggestions, but more importantly, this is an opportunity to share experiences/thoughts with a large number of people and organisations who ALL share a common goal - BUILDING GREAT WORKPLACES! If you've got a problem, you can guarantee someone else has got it too - and they might just have the solution as well!

Visit the Forum at www.johnrobertson.co.nz/forum today! If you would like assistance in making a contribution, please use the "Live Support" function in the top right corner of any Forum page and we can help!

Next steps in the survey process

For the purposes of the Best Places to Work competition, your organisation's survey response rate and overall Performance Index (PI) score has been recorded. In the next two days, we will be ranking organisations based on their PI, and putting together benchmark data to allow organisations to compare their results against the other participating organisations. All organisations will receive another email from us before Friday discussing benchmarking.

The HR Policies and Practices Review Questionnaire has been held up slightly, but will be coming your way by the end of the week. Your response greatly assists us in our research to discover what makes for a 'great place to work'.

The rest of the process can be seen on our website - click here.
