JRA Workshop Nov 2008 - post-survey initiatives
JRA Workshop – Developing a post-survey initiative
Once you’ve run an employee survey, your next challenge is to actually ‘do something’ with the results. Specifically, identifying a couple of things to improve on over the next year is often not so hard, but actually designing effective initiatives and programmes needs some good thought.
It doesn’t matter when your last/next survey was or is – this workshop can give you some structure and guidance on choosing/implementing change initiatives. Also hear from guest speakers who have ‘been there, done that.’
Workshops will be held in Auckland (4 Nov), Wellington (11 Nov) and Christchurch (12 Nov). Find out more or register your attendance on our website: www.jra.co.nz/jraworkshop.
unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work Awards Evening
The unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work Awards Evening identifies and celebrates the achievements of New Zealand’s premiere workplaces. For the first time ever, the Awards will be held in the same year as the survey (hooray!), on 26 November 2008 at The Langham in Auckland. Around 400 people will attend this black tie event… and you’re most welcome to join us. More information can be seen and tickets purchased at www.jra.co.nz/bestplacestowork/awards.

The expo ran over the weekend of 27-28 September, and with more than 6,000 people attending over the two days the event was a great success. Thank you to all those who managed to stop by our stand for a visit, it was great to see you there!
JRA Australia
JRA Australia continues to busy itself in establishing itself as a leader of stakeholder surveys and analysis across the ditch. Some recent and future highlights include:
- Dr Neal Knight-Turvey presented to the members of the Wellington HRINZ - I O Psychology Special Interest Group a few weeks ago - "Employee surveys: Maligned, misused and missed opportunities". Download the presentation here.
- Neal will also be chairing the Linking Employee and Customer Engagement Summit in Sydney on the 27th and 28th of October. Call us on (09) 378 2003 to discuss how we might be able to help your organisation with linkage analysis.

The Team at JRA
