Each year, the unlimited/JRA Best Places to Work Survey reveals the top organisations to work for in New Zealand. In 2006, 232 organisations participated in the survey, with the following organisations being rated the Best Places to Work in New Zealand – by their employees.

Congratulations to Flight Centre (NZ), the Overall Winner (and large workplace category winner) of the 2006 survey. Other category winners were the Securities Commission (small workplace), TBWA\Whybin and TEQUILA\ (small-medium workplace), and Waikato District Council (medium-large workplace). Otago Museum won the inaugural award for most improved workplace.
